Eulogy

————————————————————————–

Songs by EULOGY. We were a group of friends who played music together from 1998 A.D. – 2003 A.D. We featured a wide array of instruments and musicians, but the main core of the group became myself on drums + voice and Joe Lotito on bass/cello and occasionally voice. The songs here are grouped chronologically, from our beginnings inside the oil drums of an abandoned oil refinery to our final recording at Inner Ear studios in Arlington, VA.

Old Eulogy review I came across recently. This is from Punk Planet issue #35 and is for the album “I Hear Voices”:

“I am sure these guys do here voices. This is disturbing, silly and haunting. I would liken it to ones first day on a Psych ward. This band is really unique and original. I would call them experimental in the same vein as early Butthole Surfers, Helios
Creed, Sockeye and Rudimentary Peni without sounding like any of those bands. This is very good stuff. The best thing I got this month. The art is noteworhty for its Nick Blinko like depravity. This is a totally DIY project from the 4-track recording (in unusual locales) to the art and staples. These people are AUDIO
terrorists. The vocals drone (in a good way!) the drummer(s) are exceptional and everything (there’s quite a bit) is inventive. This CD is over an hour long!”
